Terms and Conditions
Before you go ahead and choose to do business with MobileRepairs4u.co.uk, we recommend that you read the following terms and conditions carefully. Once you place an order with us, you will be bound by the following terms and any violation(s) will force us to take necessary action.
Contract Basis between the Company and the Client
We provide our exceptional services for the residents of the United Kingdom who are registered on our website. The ability of the registered users to comply with the terms and conditions mentioned herein determines the acceptance or rejection of the order by our side. If the order is accepted, a contract is formed between you and MobileRepairs4u.co.uk.
The contract begins when you place an order with us (more information available under the How It Works tab). You must only send over the phone which you own the absolute rights for along with the title and the interest. Once we receive your phone and the payment, the contract will be established and the analysis of your phone will begin.
The user cannot assign or transfer the obligations and rights that may arise in the contract to any other user or person without prior intimation to us. The contract cannot be transferred but can be sub-contracted to another user.
Cancellation: Any contract can be cancelled before you send over your phone for repair. No cancellations will be made once the phone is in transit.
Delivery: Each order placed on MobileRepairs4u.co.uk comes with a Free Post Returns Service and Return Delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24. While placing the order, you can opt for either posting your device via a courier service of your choice or using our Next Day Free Returns Address service. This service covers a loss of items up to £500. For any items that cover the loss of more than this amount, you will have to choose your own courier service. The device is posted the same day it’s completely repaired using the Royal Mail Tracked 24.
While the Post Office works with the aim of developing the item with Royal Mail Tracked 24 (click for more information), it may take up to 10 working days under some circumstances (click for more information).
Shipping and Reimbursement: Since MobileRepairs4u.co.uk provides its own free of cost shipping service, no additional shipping payments made by the customer will be reimbursed. In case your device was to get lost in the post, you would be required to submit
- a copy of the receipt with the barcode, and
- the original receipt of the purchased item
to make a claim for reimbursement.
Please keep in mind that they the claim may take up to 28 days to process before any further action can be taken.
Re-arranging the delivery date: In order to change the date on which you receive to collect your parcel from the Royal Mail Depot you will have to contact your local office.
>Can I change the courier company, address, or anything else used by MobileRepairs4u?
No. When you make a purchase with MobileRepairs4u, it is the company that chooses the courier service that they are going to employ and it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Also, make sure you enter the correct address and contact information at the time of placing the order since we will be unable to change it once the order is dispatched. If you need to change the address, be sure to contact us while your order is still being processed. You can contact us via email with the details of your new address. All the couriers require signatures by the receptor at the time of receipt.
We make no promises to definitely fulfill the special requests that you may ask for at the time of checkout in the Notes section. However, we do promise to dispatch your item within 3 to 5 days. In case of any delay, you will be notified by our team.
Damaged Item: If under any scenario, you were to receive a damaged item, we recommend that contacting us is the first thing you do. You can contact our customer service here email@example.com. Make sure that you do not throw away any of the packaging as we will need you to send this back to us with the item so we can work on your claim in a better way. The claim may take up to 28 days to process.
Sending: It is advised that you take your packaged device to the post office rather than the post box in order to avoid any delay in the service. Don’t forget to take a receipt from the post office with a bar code on it so you can track it.
In case of returning a device, use the same postage label provided in the original confirmation email sent out.
If you choose to include separate parts while sending your device, please note that you are doing that entirely at your own risk and MobileRepairs4u will not be held responsible if any of these parts were to go missing before your package is received by us.
International Customers (outside the United Kingdom): Customers who live outside of the United Kingdom will be required to choose their own courier service and will be required to pay an extra £20 to get us to send the device back to you using a secured international courier service. The same applies for the return of an item. Our free postal service cannot be availed by the international customers and you must pick a courier service of your own choice to return any item to us. The charges for this courier service will not be reimbursed.
Non-Refundable Repairs: Certain repair services offered by MobileRepairs4u are non-refundable. These include liquid damage repairs and/or liquid damage related repairs and diagnostics, if you decide not to proceed with the repair.
Prices: The prices of the services provided by MobileRepairs4u are subject to change without any prior notice to the customers. The prices stated in the promotional items can only be availed as long as the promotion is valid. All prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery charges unless stated otherwise.
No Fix, No Fee Policy: The No Fix, No Fee Policy provided by MobileRepairs4u does not apply to services such as water damage and diagnostics. However, each case will be individually considered and a full refund will be handed out based on our discretion.
Payment: MobileRepairs4u.co.uk accepts payments made by PayPal, Credit cards, or Debit cards. When you purchase a mobile phone and/or accessory, we can only ship the item to the billing address which is associated with the card. All the payments have to be made prior to ay repair.
Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your repair, you must do this before you send the device, and your order will be completely refunded. Once we have received the device and depending on the repairs that need to be carried out, we may not be able to cancel the order. However, if we can, an additional postage charge shall be deducted from your repair cost.

We reserve the right to make changes to this website and terms and conditions. We operate a no fix, no fee policy under which we do not charge any fee if we cannot fix your device. However, if we have diagnosed the issue but you want to cancel the order for whatsoever reason, then we will charge you a diagnostic fee of £9.99 and postage costs. Customer also pays for two way postage if they decide to cancel the order after posting it to us.
Warranty: All repairs, except for the ones related to software, battery, and water damage, come with a 12 month warranty. The battery related repairs are warranted for 3 months. This excludes any faults that may be related to physical or accidental damage or caused if the device is opened whilst in your possession. If the nature of the repair falls outside the terms of your warranty or guarantee, then you may have to incur a charge for the repair.
Our warranty is not covered for repairs on WiFi Faults on the iPhone 4 and 4s.
If you take your device to a third party after it has been repaired by MobileRepairs4u this will void the warranty on your device. This includes both repaired and purchased devices.
No software related repair will be covered by our warranty. The warranty provided by MobileRepairs4u only covers the original repair. For instance, if you pay for a screen repair and the screen becomes faulty, you will be able to avail the warranty of 1 year. If any additional faults occur that are not related to the original repair this will not be covered under warranty and will need to be paid for.
The warranty for refurbished phones and tablets sold by MobileRepairs4u differs depending on the device and only covers the manufacturing defects. If the fault is not related to this or happens outside of the warranty period, an extra cost may occur. It does not cover any physical or accidental damage.
With all refurbished devices sold by Mobile Repairs 4u, the battery will only be covered by a 3 month warranty.
If you purchase a refurbished mobile device from MobileRepairs4u and you accidentally damage the device, it will void the warranty. If after this you purchase a repair from MobileRepairs4u, you will be covered under a new repair warranty, if applicable. If the device is damaged it shall not be covered under warranty. If they pay to have repaired it still will not be covered by warranty due to any future faults that may occur.
Repair Process and Delays: We work with the aim of repairing your device within 24 to 48 hours of receiving it. However, no promises are made since every repair varies in time and complexity. MobileRepairs4u holds a record of showing 96.3% of repairs on the same day but we may encounter further issues that may slow down the process. If for any reason your repair takes longer than it should, you will be notified with the reason and the estimated completion date. Alternatively, you can check under the My Account tab to check for any new developments in relation to your repair.
Please be aware that Diagnostics may take longer than usual repairs as our trained technicians take time to look at every element of the device and check for faulty parts.
Please note that we do not guarantee your device will be repaired after we diagnose the fault. 97% of devices that we diagnose are repaired.
With screen repairs on Samsung Devices there is always a chance of the LCD breaking due to the glue needed to bond the glass to the LCD. We are one of the few repairers that offer just a glass repair, which in turn passes the savings on to the customer. However, occasionally the LCD may break. We always make our best efforts to notify the customer about the procedure and ask for permission to carry on as we will not be liable for the cost of the replacement LCD.
Liquid Damage repairs can take up to 5 - 9working days.
Any Motherboard related repairs can take up to 5 - 9 working days.
Any Software related repairs can take up to 5 - 9 working days.
Orders which have multiple repairs or require additional repairs may take longer. Any time estimate for completion of the repair service, which may be given to you, is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this agreement.
If we receive your device and no default is detected, we will send it back and refund you the difference. However, there will be a £9.99 handling fee deducted—this covers postage & diagnostic costs.
On a few iPad screen repairs occasionally fine grid lines may appear, the screen will work without any problems just light grid lines may seem apparent which will not affect the performance of the screen at all. We will be unable to refund or replace the screen based on this factor.
Additional Repairs: When you send your mobile device in to us for a repair, it is rigorously tested by a number of different testers and departments and sometimes additional faults are found. If we find an additional fault with your mobile device we will send you an additional repair payment request via email. It is your decision to choose to proceed or not. If you choose to go ahead with the repair, once we receive the payment, your mobile device will be passed back to our technicians to continue the repair work. If you decline, we will stop the work and send the mobile device back as it is. If you have any queries about the additional repairs, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Waterproof Repairs: Mobile devices that are sold as being waterproof are originally sealed in the manufacturer’s factory with special machines and special liquid-proof gaskets.
When we carry out a repair on a waterproof device, it involves opening and closing the device and hence we cannot guarantee that your device will be 100% waterproof after the repair process has been completed. We replace all gaskets required but only the manufacturers of the device have access to the specialised equipment required. However, we always use grade A parts and use the best possible techniques.
Testing: Our trained testers and technicians always test the device on arrival and before it is dispatched. We test many different aspects of the device including the buttons, vibration, sound, cameras, charging port, WiFi, speakers, signal, front screen, LCD display, power setting etc. in order to ensure we don't miss any faults and provide the best possible service.
Your Data: Please ensure your data is wiped off the phone or backed up via your operating system before sending your device to us. Our repairs are done in a professional manner but we cannot guarantee that the data will be on the device upon return to you. We do not offer a data recovery service. Pin Locks and passwords must be removed before you send your device to us. We advise that all sim cards, memory cards, and accessories are taken off the device before sending to us for repair as we will not be liable for any loss. We may need to update your iOS to ensure the repair is carried out correctly.
By sending your mobile device to MobileRepairs4u, you agree to release us from all claims, damages, or loss of any data stored therein or on any media used in conjunction with the mobile device (This could be in the form of personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or other data). We accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that such data is removed from the mobile device before sending the device to MobileRepairs4u.
Liability: If your device is damaged beyond economical repair through our negligence or will ful misconduct, our liability will be limited to the cost of providing a replacement with a product that is the same or similar to your device. You have the sole responsibility for any data stored on your device and we accept no liability for any loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
When sending in a damaged device, our technicians will probably need to open up the device to either diagnose or repair it. This comes with an element of risk and may result in some minor damages to your device. We do everything possible to ensure this doesn't happen. However, if it does happen and the damages are significant we will offer a replacement or repair. We will not be responsible for any damage or fault caused by a previous repair.
When sending in your mobile phone for screen repair or home button repair, MobileRepairs4u will not be held responsible if the Touch ID feature does not work after the repair is carried out.
Emailing and Messaging: We aim to answer all emails and messages within 24 hours. This may be slightly longer if you email or message us during a Sunday or on a Bank Holiday.
Insurance: This only covers customers who can provide a legitimate tracking code for the services we provide; your own courier services are not included.
This is up to the value of your device or £500, whichever is the cheapest amount. This will cover for replacement of the handset/tablet sent in. The insurance is for when the device is in transit only. The insurance covers postal loss only. We will cover loss of your device only when it fails to be delivered and the courier company we have used confirms the item as lost.
Lack of secure packaging can result on a claim being denied. We will not cover the loss of any device if packaging has been tampered with. We will also not cover damage that has occurred due to bad postal handling process.
If we replace a device for a like model for any reason, this comes with a 3 month MobileRepairs4u warranty. This does not cover any accidental damages including liquid damage. If your device has been lost in the post, we are unable to refund the repair or service you previously purchased as the work has already been carried out. Your replacement device will be in full working order. We are unable to issue a refund on a repair or service if it is replaced by a fully working handset.
This insurance cover is provided by MobileRepairs4u and not by Royal Mail.
Diagnostic Services: The diagnostic fee covers one way shipping and handling costs only and will be deducted from any repair cost if you decide to go ahead with a repair. The diagnostic is in process throughout the duration of the time your device is in our possession as this is an ongoing process.
Blocked Devices: At MobileRepairs4u we do not repair any device that has been bricked, blocked, or jail-broken. The device will be sent back and the customer will be refunded—less diagnostic and postal charges. However if it was sent in for a diagnostic or liquid damage, this will not be refunded.
If the device has no IMEI number then we will not repair the device. This is for security and warranty purposes. The device will be sent back and the customer will be refunded—less diagnostic and postal charges. If it was sent in for a diagnostic or liquid damage, this will not be refunded.
Returns: We will attempt a re-repair on your mobile device twice after the initial repair. If after this, the mobile device is still faulty we will issue a refund (minus postage and handling costs). We will need to see the mobile device and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund. This does not include diagnostic and water damage related repairs.
Packaging: Please note that if our packaging is checked out as an additional option, this is only available for 1 time being sent out and not multiple times, this service can be sent out additionally if it is checked out once again.
14-day Money Back Guarantee: With all refurbished phones sold, we give our customers a 14-day money back guarantee. If, in any way, you are unsatisfied with the device, you have 14 days in which you can return the mobile device and get a refund. The 14 days starts from the day the customer receives the mobile device. If for any reason the item is exchanged or repaired, this does not restart the 14 days. The customer has 30 days from the date they receive the phone initially to exchange the refurbished mobile device. After these 30 days the device can only be returned for repair.
If you check out a phone and a repair with MobileRepairs4u within the repair time frame, then excise the 14-day money back guarantee on the purchased phone after your phone has been repaired. You will be charged £9.99 for the rental charge of the phone as this would be classed as a phone rental.
VAT: All our refurbished mobile phones are sold in subject to section 50A of the VAT Act 1994 and the VAT (Special Provisions) order 1995. A VAT Margin scheme applies. You can read more about it here.
Error 53: If we have carried out a liquid damage, screen or mother board related repair on any of the following devices and Error 53 appears on the device, we will not be held accountable. This is an issue with Apple and not due to the repair carried out by MobileRepairs4u and it will not be covered by our warranty.

Grey Screen of Death: If we have carried out a repair on your iPhone and a grey screen/bar appears on the device we will not be held accountable. This is an issue with Apple and not due to the repair carried out by MobileRepairs4u and it will not be covered by our warranty.
